ripped this video to my iPod Classic 15 years ago after I went to the show, and revisiting your video now (still top of my search when I looked up "Radiohead Lollapalooza 2008"!). thanks for taking this. One of the most beautiful memories of me entire life that you captured on film, and a sentiment that I'm sure is shared by the tens of thousands in the crowd. Thanks for keeping it up all these years later.

All those old links are dead, uploading videos from a Crystal Castles show nuked my 2008 account, this is a 2011 re-up... Maybe I should dig up those old files and make some new upscaled remasters, if I can find them! Lots of those old hard drives have not survived, I'm so grateful I upped these to RUclips for preservation's sake. I'm so happy other fans of Radiohead can enjoy (and re-live) these shows!!

I'm so happy you were able to get this video. This was one of the best weekends of my life. I was pretty close to the guys in mgmt at the time and they were able to give me free tickets to this. Nine inch nails and Rage were also amazing shows

@@sillylung Lucky. Where were you during the RH performance? My only Radiohead show before Lolla was Cuyahoga Falls in August 2003. I was 16 and went with my dad and cousin and his friends. I was waaaay back on the lawn, but I didn't care being so far away, just hearing them in person was magical and surreal. Lolla '08 was my 2nd time seeing them. I spent those 5 years loving the band even more and vowing that I would do everything in my power do be as close to them as I could. My interest and desire of a career in video production led me to buying the Canon G9, which had 5x optical zoom that was locked during video recording. While most people recorded in 320p on their pocket cameras or 240p on their flip phones, I had 480p with manual mic controls. I didn't expect to record most of the concert, I just wanted to get 4 or 5 songs. But once I first saw that band so close up, I pretty much knew that I'd be getting the best footage of that performance. I felt a social obligation to document it, plus I actually felt like I got more out of the show by recording it--like I was a part of the production as a whole. But I'm just a fan with a love for those boys and video production. I do it primarily for myself.

@@sillylung Also, I was a fan of Rage too, and as soon as I heard about their reunion in 2007 when I was a freshman at The University of Akron, I was determined to travel to see them live. NIN was good too, even though Trent was really sick. He was a trooper and put on a great show, that apology of his towards the end of the concert stuck with me. Even though he was forced to lypsync for most of the show (it was obvious which few songs he actually sang live, his voice sounded like hell, but it caused a cool vocal rasp you'll never hear again) he put on an amazing performance for us. 3 brilliant headliners...

Oh nice! You're welcome! You were in Cincinnati 2018?? You're lucky, I've been to a lot of Radiohead shows and I've never seen Talk Show Host live, nor Decks Dark. They were amazing in Cbus and Pittsburgh though!! I couldn't afford the Cincinnati trip/ticket, which was after the Cbus show and before the Pittsburgh show.

Even though I don't live there anymore, I really hope they go back to Blossom someday. I'd probably make the trip to see them if they do!! (And film it of course)

I was there too. First Radiohead show. I go to a lot of concerts by artists of every genre and they put on one of the best live shows I've seen.

Likewise!! The very first time I saw Radiohead up close was when I was 21, at Lolla 2008. I was an overjoyed emotional mess. That show is somewhere on my YT page haha
